Chris Murphy Finally Remembers the State He's Supposed to Represent (Just Not the Constituents)

If you watch or listen to Sen. Chris Murphy speak on a regular basis, first of all, we feel very sorry for you. But secondly, you would be hard-pressed to identify what state he is supposed to be representing in Washington, D.C.

Murphy loves to pay attention to anything and anyone outside of Connecticut. One could be forgiven for thinking that he is arrested Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro's representative in Congress, or even Iran's elected Senator. Certainly, Murphy has shown that he cares more about Palestinians who hate America more than he does about citizens of the Nutmeg State. He's even said himself that the people he and all Democrats care about most are those who have no business being in America. 

So, you can imagine our shock when Murphy announced today that he was deploying himself to Danbury, Connecticut. 

What's less of a shock is that he is doing so to protect illegal aliens, not American citizens living in his state. 

Oooh! He's 'heading to Danbury,' everyone! 

ICE must be trembling. LOL. 

That's always a solid initial assumption when it comes to anything Murphy says. 

In this case, ICE has definitely stepped up operations in Connecticut in August and has focused on Danbury for the past few days, resulting in the apprehension of many illegals in the sanctuary jurisdiction.

However, there is ZERO evidence that ICE agents are deliberately separating children from parents at school bus stops. 

He won't. 

He's just engaging in emotional blackmail and trying to incite another Alex Pretti to attack federal officers or another Renee Good to try to run one or more of them over with an SUV. 

Yep. That's exactly the response Murphy is hoping for from an unhinged, uninformed AWFL. 

Too bad there's no corroboration for Murphy's allegation. 

Oopsie. 

Darn those pesky facts. They keep getting in the way of Murphy's narrative.

What a great way to keep families together. 

But if Murphy is upset about this alleged separation of families, why was he so quiet during the Obama administration?

... Thousands of cases of families being separated and it barely made the news. 

Democrats didn't care about migrants back then. They didn't care when migrants were dying and being trafficked at historical rates during the Biden years. And they won't care about migrants when a Democrat is back in the White House.

And that's all it is. Performative theater designed to foment rage on the Left. 

It's the only thing he knows how to do. 

Too bad he can never grandstand for Americans. 

Heaven forbid! 

Murphy doesn't even know any of their names. 

HA! 

We're sure he couldn't find Danbury, or even Hartford, on his own.

We tried to look up the last time that Murphy was actually IN Connecticut, but historical records don't go back that far.

Now, there's an 'Oopsie!' that we'd love to see. 

We can only hope that ICE is saving their taser gloves for when Murphy finally arrives. 

Assuming he actually does show up, that is, and doesn't get distracted by a pro-Hamas rally in New York City on his way there.
