You can tell when a Democrat knows he or she is trying to misrepresent a situation based not on what they say happened, but what they don't include in the story. The usual suspects in the media are of course always happy to help, as NBC News was caught doing in this recent story:
As usual, buried within the underlying article is the revelation that their mother was arrested by local police on suspicion of shoplifting - which is how the parents ended up on ICE's radar as they were both in the US illegally.

The second example comes by way of claims that ICE "snatched" a 5-year-old boy off the streets and tossed him into a detention center. Yep, that's what happened and there's definitely not more to the story! With that the Left has another bogus talking point.
My son is about to start kindergarten and I literally cannot imagine how I would feel or what I would do if masked agents hauled him off to a detention center with no explanation and no way of knowing when he'd get out.

First of all, don't be in another country illegally and your chances of having a run-in with immigration authorities drops to just about zero. But the Democrats are doing the lying by omission thing yet again, just like Rep. Greg Cesar here in reference to the same story mentioned above:

"The Trump administration is separating families," claimed Casar. The story mentioned in the above video refutes the Democrat narrative about this, because ICE didn't arrest the child — they took his father into custody. The boy was also taken with him so they would NOT be separated. Did Casar want ICE to just leave the kid on the street?
The level of intentional dishonesty from these Democrats is off the charts. So what happened is that the Trump administration IS "keeping families together."

Remember "no one is above the law"? Neither do Rep. Casar and the other Democrats. All they know is lies and distortions when it comes to trying to protect the Democrats' most precious demographic, illegal aliens.
