Hilarious and kinda creepy! Check out CNN’s Jake Tapper’s Siri experiment:

Wait … what?!

@jaketapper @jimgeraghty yeah…right "experiment"

— Juicy Smoillier (@bob_emotional) August 13, 2014

Heh. Tapper clarified that it was in response to this story:

Oh dear.

Other Twitter users performed similar “experiments.”

@jaketapper @barrebecca Lol, we did the same earlier and got the same reply. Siri must think we are on a rampage.

@RBPundit @jaketapper yep. I can confirm pic.twitter.com/CiRp5li29P

@barrebecca @jaketapper After asking a few times she said, "Very funny". Siri is not amused lol.

— LS (@silverleanne) August 13, 2014

@jaketapper She told me "Very funny." @jimgeraghty

Oh, Siri! Alas, the news story may not be true. It seems Tapper’s experiment may have uncovered some falsehoods in reporting. Tapper has for some reason deleted his tweets, but here is the gist of it:

@jaketapper If this is about the Aguilar Bravo case, reports that he asked siri where to hide a body are INCORRECT. Check out @GainesvillePD

— Shelby Webb (@shelbywebb) August 13, 2014

Keeping the record straight. No, Pedro Bravo Didn’t Ask Siri Where to Stash His Roomate’s Body http://t.co/XPGsr0x72S

— WUFT Pedro Bravo (@WUFTPedroBravo) August 13, 2014

.@BuzzFeed Your Pedro Bravo Siri story is incorrect. He did not even have a phone with Siri. Please take it down. #BravoTrial

@jaketapper @Chelsieg1 @SuperJulia I would recommend contacting @GPDBenTobias (GPD spokesman) before reporting on it for your CNN show

— Shelby Webb (@shelbywebb) August 13, 2014

@shelbywebb @Chelsieg1 @SuperJulia @GPDBenTobias of course

— Jake Tapper (@jaketapper) August 13, 2014

@GPDBenTobias whats your contact info? seems like theres a lot of inaccurate reporting out there on the Bravo case?

— Jake Tapper (@jaketapper) August 13, 2014

@jaketapper Other than correcting a misquote from our detective I'm not offering any other info. Not my place during trial.

— Ben Tobias (@GPDBenTobias) August 13, 2014

Tapper remains on the case:

@GPDBenTobias fair enough but i'd like to have this explained, what was the misquote – where can my team call you for clarification?

— Jake Tapper (@jaketapper) August 13, 2014

Stay tuned! In the meantime, stop bugging Siri.
