Blanchett then took home the award for Best Actress for her role in “Blue Jasmine.”

Her acceptance speech scored. First, she threw a little shade at Matthew McConaughey. As Twitchy reported, his acceptance speech Saturday night baffled and sparked “what is he smoking?” snickers.
