As Twitchy reported, TweetGate broke Tuesday night when it was reported that Jofi Joseph, a White House national security official, was fired last week and exposed as Twitter user @natsecwonk. That account posted misogynistic and insulting tweets, along with insider information, for more than two years.
Amanda Carpenter, senior communications adviser to Sen. Cruz, notes something very telling about the firing:
