I have always walked back more than a few of my comments (especially after drinking Jim Beam 7 year) but you are probably correct, unlike me, I have retracted things because I knew they were wrong. He only backtracked because a light was shone upon him.

          When I was in my 20’s I expressed myself in a way that caused me to “walk back” things I said and did out of anger. I eventually realized that apologies weren’t enough, amended behavior and a better way to express my anger is what a TRUE apology is all about. It’s also quite freeing, I got a grip on myself, learned to express my anger and disappointment that got my feelings and opinions heard, but in a way that wasn’t harmful and hurtful. It’s a beautiful thing to be an adult that doesn’t have to go around apologizing for one’s behavior. This is how adults act. I’m guessing Allan is in his 50’s? I spend most of my time with my children, telling them how to bait a hook and how to identify different tree species. I feel a certain need to let them grow in a healthy atmosphere and make their own choices.. sure, when they are 16 or so, I can always drop a little of my thoughts on the world and how it works. The main thing is your children will get a better education by observing how involved and how loving YOU are. How in the living heck could a full grown adult ever wish harm on a child who has no idea how the real world works?     Allan Brauer can offer resume writing advice and staffing and recruiting advice to businesses wanting not to hire women and minorities.

    Allan Brauer should be hired as a consultant if the best you want is gutter level communications. Strong choice for haters.

    He may have resigned from SacDems — but that degenerate reprobate, Allan Brauer, is still very much officially active in the Sacramento area Democrat party. He was just elected by the Sacramento American River Democrats group two months ago — as Treasurer. He was President of the organization in 2012. Oh — and American River Democrats is a “Charter Club” of the SacDems organization he just resigned from.
