Bing puts up wonderful 9/11 tribute; Google also remembers, Yahoo ignores

Bing has a wonderful 9/11 tribute on its home page today.

Some will come to #remember. Some to pay their respects. But all those who come will #neverforget http://t.co/NaUeCCB3 pic.twitter.com/gxuSNcnl

By sheer luck, landed on @Bing and saw their motion graphic of the 9/11 memorial. Subtle and respectful. Well done http://t.co/eBKCqDYm

Google often forgets to mark certain days and events. Today, they did remember. Some aren’t pleased, though.

Others praise Google’s understated tribute.

I just want to give props to "google" for keeping their 9/11 tribute simple and understated. Sometimes less is more!
