Joy Reid is on a mission to rehabilitate Wajahat Ali and his lunatic bigoted guest who called Hakeem Jeffries a 'monkey' and an 'errand boy'.
I am disgusted and horrified that Hakeem Jeffries is taking money from AIPAC amidst Israel's genocide in Palestine.

That said, a term that I used to describe him was inappropriate and offensive and should never have been used.
I apologize unconditionally.
First of all, the racist woman behind this controversy, Rula Jebreal, put out this apology. It's less than heartfelt.
Oh brother. The rehabilitation tour has begun pic.twitter.com/12bsrCwQVX

Then, Joy Reid had Rula and Wajahat on her show to clean up their mess. Joy figured she could tell her audience Wajahat and Rula aren't 'really' racist, they were misunderstood, and all should be forgiven.
"Find a Black person ok with the racism" tour has begun https://t.co/6lLdWmC4an

Apparently, Joy fit the bill.
I predicted that he would immediately go on the Joy Reid Show for atonement lmao. How humiliating. I bet they just move on from this like nothing happened. https://t.co/ujhUracUhz

If their plan works, that is exactly what they will do.
Dear Haters? https://t.co/a8Qp1crsOC
— greg (@mistergeezy) September 5, 2026
By 'haters', they apparently mean black people rightly upset because a Black man was called a 'monkey' and an 'errand boy'.
The three villains have gathered to defend themselves from their own racist language, thoughts and actions. https://t.co/5QrWwKcIbw

Birds of a feather ...
"QUICK we need to find a black person to be ok with Rula calling a black person a monkey and Waj being complacent about it!" https://t.co/h8kP0Nknev

Joy basically calling people haters for calling out racism and telling them to stfu is top tier clown. https://t.co/XFGOba83ak
— @resistancesean.bsky.social (@ResistanceSean) September 5, 2026
But so typical for Joy.
Joy Reid has lost her damn mind. Wait until one of them calls her racial slurs. 🥷🏽🐒 https://t.co/5BeR91TsGC
— Jarlena4ever ❤️ (@ElaErica) September 5, 2026
And they will.
Getting fired from MSNOW obviously caused Joy Reid to take leave of her faculties. https://t.co/K6SwvS5iVq
— Mario Carter (@_mario_carter) September 5, 2026
Oh, she lost her faculties while she was still at MSNOW. This isn't new.
I hope she realizes there's no path back to this community if you're out there with that community.

Ugh. They're going to go talk to Stephen A next.

Don't give them any ideas.
wow. she knew what she was saying. https://t.co/yKTS8eWHkQ
— José (@josecanyousee) September 4, 2026
Just a gentle reminder Rula knew exactly what she was saying because she tried to drag DeSantis for an innocuous comment years ago. She knows what she said, she meant it, and she's not at all sorry for it.
