Billionaire in Blessings: Reflecting on a Year Full of Love, Laughter, and Florida Sunshine

AngieArtist

It's the last day of 2025 and it's time to reflect back on the year before we leave it behind and head into the New Year. Personally, there were some lows, but there were way more highs and I want to acknowledge that. That hasn't been the case every year, so being thankful for the good times is important to me.

My daughter hid and took pictures. I love that my children get along with one another. I'm not sure I did anything particularly well to make that happen, but I'm thankful.

Christmas of 2024 I spent in a hospital with my Mom as she had a tumor in her stomach and it was bleeding. This year, all of her treatment is over and she celebrated Christmas at home with us. I couldn't be more thankful. After losing my Dad in 2022, I'm not ready to lose another parent (is anyone ever ready) and I'm glad Heavenly Father tarried and allowed my mom to stay with me a while longer.

My best friends and my cousin (I've known my cousin all my life, obviously, as well as Tara and we met Nicole when we were five and her Dad came to pastor at our church. They are all lifelong friends) threw me a 50th birthday weekend and it was so lovely. They went all out and I truly could never thank them enough.

My daughter ended this semester of college with all A's. School doesn't always come easy for her, so this was a huge accomplishment. She worked very hard. Her goal is her Bachelor's in Nursing and she is making good progress.

I am grateful to live in Florida. We have a conservative Governor who walks the walk he talks and he has made his mark over the last 7 years. I get to live where most people vacation. In an hour, I can get to the beach, Disney World, or a beautiful Spring to look at manatees. It's such a blessing. I can also run over protestors if they ever decided to attack my car. That's nice, too.

I look forward to another year at Twitchy. It's one of the joys of my life to share the most talked about content on X with you and to receive your messages with your own thoughts. Please keep those coming. Thank you for all the love and support. God bless you and yours.
