From Reality Star to Firestorm Crusader: Spencer Pratt Takes on Newsom Over Palisades Fire Scandal

AP Photo/Ethan Swope, File

Spencer Pratt came on the scene in the early 2000's. Millions of people (mostly young women) tuned into watch his reality show life with his girlfriend who would eventually become his wife Heidi. They are still married and seem to thrive as a couple. Currently, he is using his fame to take on Gavin Newsom. Yes, the Governor of California.

Spencer and Heidi lost their beloved home in the Palisades fire. Spencer blames Gavin Newsom for mishandling the events leading up to the fire and after the fire. He also believes Karen Bass is to blame.

He is also giving a voice and platform to LA Firefighters who believe they were ignored and that the fires could have been managed much differently.

Pratt also believes money donated to help victims of the fires has been mishandled and the rebuilding effort bungled.

To be fair, it takes one to know one, and Newsom is the biggest opportunistic hack walking the planet.

So, basically Newsom and Bass failed to do the work beforehand to keep their state safe (like using controlled and prescriptive burns), didn't allow the firefighters to do their jobs and didn't listen to their advice, and now Newsom is mocking the victims.

Senator Rick Scott has introduced whistleblower protections for the firefighters speaking out. Hopefully, they will finally be heard.

May all that is hidden come to light.
