Earlier, we told you about the White House calling a lid at 11:46 am. This effectively means there will be no more official statements from the Biden administration for the day and the White House press corp can stand down. For this to occur after the weekend of violence committed against Israel and its people is unspeakably tone deaf.

Not only are our closest allies in the Middle East facing horrific evil, Americans have been killed and are reportedly being held hostage. This is a time the country needs steady leadership more than any other. This is not a regular Monday. Biden hosted a barbecue yesterday and apparently that wore the old man out.

Today should be the last day of his 2024 campaign. It is a run for reelection that should have never begun as it seems he is incapable of even finishing out this term. It's clear Biden lacks the stamina and mental fortitude to serve an additional four years. At a time when the world needs to hear from a strong and resolute America, this is not only embarrassing, it is dangerous.

Recently ousted Speaker of the House, Kevin McCarthy, called on Biden to make some statement to the country, but it apparently fell on deaf ears. We have a feckless President and a House in disarray without any real leadership. America is failing in its role as beacon other countries look to for a path to follow.

At this point, it seems the Democrats are hell bent on running Joe Biden in 2024. Not that any Democrat would be any better, but Biden is particularly dangerous. He's not mentally or physically sound and he has a truckload of family issues likely making him vulnerable to unsavory deals and perhaps even blackmail. The GOP has to get this nomination right in order to beat the Democrats and ensure Biden is not running the country well into his eighties. The damage he has done in three years is already incalculable. I fear our country and the world cannot withstand another term with him at the realm. The GOP must win and therefore must position ourselves to best do so. Elections indeed have consequences and this one will more than ever.
