'Pitiful': Mary Landrieu's reluctant descent into irrelevance

Mary Landrieu’s Twitter feed is a gloomy place these days. A tiny trickle of retweets and favorites is all there is to mark the feeble effort she’s making to smear her opponent Bill Cassidy. You can almost hear the sad violin music playing as you read.

Today’s closest House vote failed by 26. So, you know, good think @BillCassidy was there to vote no on that Motion to Recommit. #LASen

@MaryLandrieu @BillCassidy Mary lies and does not proof read.

Perhaps @BillCassidy supporters should write in @RickSantorum's name Sat. since he's the one in Louisiana willing to talk to them. #LASen

Apparently 11/26 was a big day for @BillCassidy. No more talk about being a doctor, no more public events. Why? pic.twitter.com/xqdA2U0Y5G

@MaryLandrieu @BillCassidy he's busy writing his acceptance speech, maybe you should quit whining and write your concession speech

— Deplorable Petr (@PragueArtist) December 4, 2014

WOW! @BillCassidy just canceled tonight's appearance w/ @RickSantorum! That's ZERO public events since his LSU payroll scandal broke. #LASen
