Another day and another boneheaded display of liberal bias in the classroom.
Wow. DC students asked to compare and contrast Hitler & G. Bush. It happened. http://t.co/vqVwakIWgh

@wusa9 picture out of context when assignment involved books read. Still stupid. But so is the reporting. Pfft

Here’s some “context” according to WUSA9 in DC
According to WNEW, the educator at McKinley Middle School sent students home with a Venn diagram with instructions to compare and contrast Hitler and Bush, stating that “both men abused their powers.”
A copy of the assignment, made by an upset parent and posted on social media, instructs students to draw examples from two texts they were assigned and to fill in a Venn diagram with similarities and differences between the two men.
“Now that we have read about two men of power who abused their power in various ways, we will compare and contrast them and their actions,” the assignment reads. “Please refer to your texts, ‘Fighting Hitler – A Holocaust Story’ and ‘Bush: Iraq War Justified Despite No WMD’ to compare and contrast former President George W. Bush and Hitler. We will use this in class tomorrow for an activity!”

Can you imagine what would happen if a teacher did the same thing but substituted Barack Obama for George W. Bush?
No DCPS curriculum says to make these comparisons in any way. A deeply apologetic teacher used poor judgment & will apologize to students.

@HendersonKaya The public entrusts you with their children. Extremely poor judgment on the teachers behalf and disciplinary action is needed

.@TeriChristoph @wusa9 Dear everyone: Get your kids the hell out of public schools now, or they'll be taught by these brainwashers.
