'Malicious dishonesty!' Crist says racism drove him out of GOP, not losing to a Hispanic

In an interview with Jorge Ramos yesterday, former Florida governor Charlie Crist claimed that he left the Republican Party to become a Democrat because of the “intolerable racism” within the GOP.  Twice, Ramos reminded Crist that he left because he was going to lose to Marco Rubio (R-FL) in the GOP Senate primary, but Crist laughably doubled down, accusing the GOP of being “anti” everything, like some sort of comic book legion of super villains.

Following the pattern of other Democrats who paste the racist label on Republicans, Crist didn’t name any names. He cited only the GOP’s reluctance to compromise with President Obama, which of course has nothing to do with policy and everything to do with race.
