CNN’s Jake Tapper wasn’t the only one mourning the death of the “Carol Burnett Show” and “Blazing Saddles” actor, who died (for the first time) in 2008.

A true loss. A brilliant comic actor. RT @jaketapper RIP Harvey Korman

Tapper corrected his error and deleted the “RIP Harvey Korman” tweet.

— Jake Tapper (@jaketapper) June 1, 2013

But the Twitterverse couldn’t resist poking a little fun at the “red faced” Tapper.
