Not so 'brave': Gillibrand gets called out on her own sexual harassment hypocrisy after slamming Kavanaugh process

New York Sen. and 2020 presidential candidate Kirsten Gillibrand was on CNN Wednesday morning still clinging to the debunked allegations against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

But when asked about the sexual harassment claims in her own office, she said this.

“She was definitely heard and believed. We believed all her allegations. We investigated thoroughly and immediately. And the allegations that she actually made didn’t rise to the level of sexual harassment. So she was never not believed, and we took it very seriously.”

Except, according to reports, that’s not the way it went down at all.

She has worked hard to improve sexual harassment rules for the military and Congress but failed to do so in her own office.

This is a candidate whose 2020 running theme is “brave wins.”

But seriously, if Democrats want to spend the 2020 election cycle running against Brett Kavanaugh, then let them have at it.
