Massachusetts Sen. and presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren is out there claiming that Stacey Abrams is the rightful governor of Georgia and that she lost the election last year due to massive voter suppression.
Sigh.
Sen. Warren, 2018 truther: "Massive voter suppression prevented Stacy Abrams from becoming the rightful governor of Georgia."

She joins Hillary Clinton in beating this conspiratorial drum.
ALL the Pinocchios! Hillary Clinton’s claim about why she lost Wisconsin (and Abrams lost Georgia) goes down in fact check flames https://t.co/FQHWHGHttA

Abrams has basically formed a second career and potential presidential bid off of claiming that something was somehow invalid about last year’s result.

Which, as we know, is a threat to the very fabric of our nation.
Donald Trump refused to say that he’d respect the results of this election. By doing that, he’s threatening our democracy.

But it actually is very irresponsible for Abrams, Clinton and now Warren to continue, some five months later, to claim that a fair and certified election result is invalid.
By refusing to accept the certified & rightful outcome in GA, Democrats are recklessly undermining faith in our institutions — precisely what they routinely attack Trump for (sometimes rightly). They also inveighed against his refusal to commit to conceding a hypothetical loss. https://t.co/qf9khrvE82

Warren is, fairly explicitly, saying that every election Democrats don't win is illegitimate https://t.co/IrIxjuJHIt

Republicans can only win by cheating yet, weirdly, didn’t cheat during the last midterm elections to stop a Democratic takeover in the House or to stop Obama from winning twice. https://t.co/SXO7c9sa2X

Perhaps Warren should start looking for the truth about her own campaign.
‘Yikes’: The NYT’s report on the shape of Elizabeth Warren’s campaign sounds a lot like the sad trombone https://t.co/GsK1wlwAV6

Her poll numbers continue to fall, which is something that cannot be blamed on massive voter suppression.
