Dan Rather joined a panel discussion on CNN’s “Reliable Sources” to discuss the dangers of the powerful platform that President Donald Trump has.
(odd how sudden this awareness of presidential platforms has become)

“Iconic broadcaster Dan Rather.”
Why would you tweet anything Dan Rather says? Why would Stelter have him on his show? https://t.co/CkqNlBW39L

Any news channel having Dan Rather on a show called “Reliable Sources” should at the very least be legally required to show a disclaimer explaining why he lost his job at CBS News for the duration of he segment. https://t.co/vHHR8HYter

Dan Rather hasn’t the ethos to diagnose propaganda. However, he is a perfect fit for CNN. https://t.co/5RFnda9xoE

So wait, during this conversation, Rather chides Trump for not “keeping up” (noting his age), and then says Trump is cunning and knows exactly what he is doing.
Which is it, Dan?

Does @cnn and @brianstelter have any self awareness left? They are letting the guy who was fired for attempting to stop a republican from getting elected with a falsified report. https://t.co/JwA4U3Yq6A

The truth is that a manure spreader in a windstorm is a really appropriate analogy for the kinds of shameless reporting that CNN and other networks will do in order to tarnish conservatives.

The reason Trump got elected and still has the support he does is because of his ability, through social media or other means, to usurp the media’s stranglehold on information and communicate directly with the American people.
Dan Rather knows this.
CNN knows this.
Much of the mainstream media know this.
And they can’t stand it.
