So, a weird thing happened on CNN on Wednesday when Don Lemon was interviewed on CNN’s morning show, “New Day.” There wasn’t anyone else they could ask about white nationalists or a Pride parade?
"They have co-opted this term 'patriot' to mean something that has really just bastardized the term."

Anyway, one thing we missed while watching that clip above was when Don made the stunning admission that he used to be a Republican:
Don Lemon, former Republican. roflmao.
Tell us, @donlemon, when was this exactly? https://t.co/khba9bXZ2c

From Fox News:
“We cannot have a false sense of equivalency about what is happening when it comes to politics in our country. There is one party, right now, that is not operating in fact. That has been misleading the American people and that is the Republican Party, sadly, which I used to be a member of the Republican Party, years ago,” Lemon stated.
Apparently, it was during the Reagan years, which was news to his CNN colleague John Avlon:
Just learned on @NewDay that @donlemon was a registered Republican in the Reagan Years…

Don, you have some explaining to do!

.@donlemon used to be a Republican? I'm surprised, but not surprised. I subscribed to their fiscal "ideals" when I was a teenager, but I never voted for a Republican president as actions speak louder than words.

Well, maybe Don Lemon sounds like a Republican because he still is a Republican?
Watching @donlemon and @cnn is 100% way more republican content.
