Los Angeles Times music reporter Suzy Exposito has locked down her account after she was criticized for tweeting, “The hardest part about having Covid is not how my body feels. It’s sleeping with a mask on to protect my cat — who insists on sleeping at my side, and will yowl if I kick her out of my room”:

That’s why I think even if the pictures are real, it was only to hold the cats for a few minutes. Because cats wouldn’t abide those masks for more than a couple minutes, maximum.
