36-year-old Prime Minister Sanna Marin of Finland is the COVID-19 hero the world needs right now

36-year-old Prime Minister Sanna Marin of Finland is under fire after photos surfaced showing her out at a club at 4 a.m. shortly after learning she had come into close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19:

According to Marin, she did know about the close contact but erroneously thought she didn’t need to quarantine. A text message was later sent to her work phone informing Marin of her error, but she left that device at home:

And she has since tested negative for Covid.

Translation: “Due to the infection of Foreign Minister Haavisto, I have applied for a corona test today and the result is negative. I’ll go for another test tomorrow”:
