Matt Dornic, the Head of Strategic Comms at CNN, posted this video of himself dodging “random gunfire” in Washington, D.C. last night:
(Volume up) Here’s a video of me dodging random gunfire in NW DC last night at 842 pm. This is unacceptable. pic.twitter.com/bhqXMoAkXl

Remind us again who is in charge?
Damn Republicans running that city!
Oh, wait…

And it’s amazing how much coverage these stories get when it’s the journos themselves in the crosshairs:
Glad you are okay, but weird this becomes unacceptable when it hits the neighborhoods where reporters live after @CNN fully supported anti-police riots for months. https://t.co/OqSWKvBxLv

Also, except for the few seconds of gunfire, this “looks mostly peaceful” to us:
Looks mostly peaceful, though, right? https://t.co/LJk6SCUc42

We need CNN to send a reporter to an entirely different part of the DC this morning with a breakfast burrito so we can see what’s really going on because Dornic’s anecdotal report doesn’t tell the entire story:
Recommended
CNN people need to get their story straight — either Trump is trying to foment a race war, as April Ryan claims, or everything is so wonderful you can eat breakfast burritos outside in peace. pic.twitter.com/eieaMRILDI
