There’s a minor dustup right now down in Florida where journos were barred from attending Gov. Ron DeSantis’ signing of the state’s new election reform law as it’s a “Fox exclusive”:

Apparently, DeSantis’ office didn’t notify reporters at all about the event until he tweeted about it this morning:

Reporters were seen on video at the site looking through locked glass doors to see what was going on:

CBS News’ Kathryn Watson suggested that Fox News should refuse to cover the bill signing until other journos were let in as well:

CNN’s Brian Stelter then retweeted it:
OK, Brian, but what about when CNN does the EXACT SAME THING?
See pic: @brianstelter piling on because Fox News got an exclusive.
Does he remember this?

Don’t hate the player, Brian. Hate the game:
Capitol Press Corps doesn’t like this, nor do I, but it’s a strategy.
DeSantis’ new strategist Phil Cox helped put this together.
New comms director @TarynFenske helped put this together.
Execution was flawless. https://t.co/jehf6EkHpj

Of course, Brian CAN’T do that because he’s playing the same game as everyone else so ¯_(ツ)_/¯.
