Former head of Planned Parenthood: Pro-choice in the sheets, anti-choice in the street on the way to Krispy Kreme for a free donut?

Krispy Kreme is incentivizing people to get the Covid-19 vaccine by giving away a donut a day until the end of the year to those who show their proof of vaccination at any of their stores across the nation:

But to Dr. Leana Wen, the former head of Planned Parenthood, people can’t be trusted to *choose* a donut:

However, donuts are a treat that's not good for health if eaten every day.

Donuts for charity is acceptable, however:

Why not give vaccinated people a box of donuts to give to an organization of their choice instead?

They can bring it to their office, donate it to charity, share with their friends, or eat it all themselves if they really want. Do it as a one-time offer of appreciation. (3/4)

As a public health expert, I can't endorse a diet of daily donuts. Still, I appreciate @krispykreme's out-of-the-box thinking & hope that other companies will join in to incentivize #vaccines.
