By now you’ve seen or heard about these three tweets from President Donald Trump this morning where he told the 4 squad members to go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came” and “then come back and show us how it is done”:

Even Geraldo Rivera called out the president over the tweets, calling them “xenophobic even racist”:

But whatever you think of them as a Trump supporter, what they did do is give Dems a “life raft” at a time when they were participating in a circular firing squad:

Even the “come back” qualifier probably won’t help stop the criticism, as Guy Benson notes below:

But then it got even crazier. Here’s Washington Post editor Karen Attiah calling out Nancy Pelosi for her attacks on the squad and saying she inspired Trump’s tweets:
