As part of a promotion tour for his new book, legendary radio shock jock Howard Stern told Anderson Cooper that he has “inside information” and he has “no doubt” that Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign was a “publicity stunt” in order to get NBC to pay him more money for another season of “The Apprentice.”

Trump was on Stern’s show multiple times, so it’s feasible he knows some “inside information,” but if so, why did he sit on it until now?
