President Donald Trump took a shot at Fox News Sunday night, criticizing the network for airing the Pete Buttigieg town hall as well as a dig a Chris Wallace:
Hard to believe that @FoxNews is wasting airtime on Mayor Pete, as Chris Wallace likes to call him. Fox is moving more and more to the losing (wrong) side in covering the Dems. They got dumped from the Democrats boring debates, and they just want in. They forgot the people…..

….who got them there. Chris Wallace said, “I actually think, whether you like his opinions or not, that Mayor Pete has a lot of substance…fascinating biography.” Gee, he never speaks well of me – I like Mike Wallace better…and Alfred E. Newman will never be President!

And this didn’t sit well with Brit Hume, especially the criticism of Wallace:
Say this for Buttigieg. He’s willing to be questioned by Chris Wallace, something you’ve barely done since you’ve been president. Oh, and covering candidates of both parties is part of the job of a news channel. https://t.co/D8yQE2kfYF

Buttigieg did take a few shots of his own at Fox News opinion hosts, specifically Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham:
Buttigieg hit Carlson for saying immigrants make the country dirty and Ingraham comparing detention centers with children to summer camps.
It was pretty stark to see someone go after Carlson and Ingraham on the network where they are top talent. https://t.co/lFeIKlOypu

It’s almost as if Elizabeth Warren, who used her boycott of Fox News to fundraise, could have done something similar if she went on the network:
Why didn’t Elizabeth Warren think of that?!? https://t.co/tAdEJAaSBG

The president will actually be on Fox News tonight, despite his criticism:
I will be interviewed by Steve Hilton tonight at 9:00 P.M. on @FoxNews. Enjoy!

Um, at the same time as “Game of Thrones”?
