'You ran on a lie?' Ilhan Omar gets called out for her Muslim Ban 'nonsense'

Rep. Ilhan Omar says she “ran on a promise to end the President’s hateful Muslim ban”. . .

I ran on a promise to end the President’s hateful Muslim ban.

And tomorrow we will introduce a bill do just that. No one should be denied basic rights because of their religion, race or national origin. #NoBanAct ✊?

. . . So, she “ran on a lie?”

So… you ran on a lie?

Were Muslims from Turkey ever banned?
Were Muslims from England ever banned?
Were Muslims from indonesia ever banned?

There was never a "Muslim ban"

Never.

Stop trying to divide. https://t.co/jjRjqOVwMx

The least she could do is be honest:

Trump may have wanted a Muslim ban. He didn’t get one. This is pernicious nonsense. https://t.co/CHyyuEtLxM

It’s only “fake news” when Trump says it though:

There has never been a “Muslim ban.” There was a moratorium on receiving any immigrants from countries whose security standards were lacking — and said countries were identified under the Obama admin. Countries that improve are removed. It’s hateful to spread fake news. https://t.co/QQFalJxhpn

This will probably happen eventually:

Good thing the Travel Ban does none of those things

But hey demagogue away
I can't wait to see how you blame the Jews advising Trump for it https://t.co/Y1FIR2xkOL
