CNN’s Chris Cuomo lamented on his show tonight that Robert Mueller “didn’t do the media any favors tonight” after releasing a statement that disputed BuzzFeed’s big scoop on Michael Cohen:
"Mueller didn't do the media any favors tonight, and he did do the president one … This allows them to say, 'You can't believe it. You can't believe what you read." —@ChrisCuomo.

Why is Cuomo blaming Robert Mueller for BuzzFeed’s mistake?
Buzzfeed didn't do the media any favors. https://t.co/uZQxOZyTvh

Maybe Cuomo is mad that Mueller killed the narrative:
"If only he'd let us continue the wild speculation unabated…." https://t.co/b0dvpOhchn

And it’s going to be fun to watch journos attack Mueller if his report doesn’t live up to their hype:
Maybe its just me…but maybe journalists shouldn't be so quick to attack Mueller to protect their own skin in this…
…I mean, ultimately, the ONLY word that will matter ultimately…is Mueller's. https://t.co/GHRwiT2M20

Want to know why at least half the country doesn’t believe the media, @ChrisCuomo? Your statement right here. Instead of wanting to get the story and the facts right, you’re blaming Mueller. You fail your profession https://t.co/La1ywg6YqM

Bonus clip: Cuomo wonders if Mueller’s silence on all the other stories means they’re true:
>> @ChrisCuomo: "There's been a lot of stories about what's going on with the probe and what the president may have known." The special counsel has remained silent about those. "I wonder if it means that they had no problem with any of those other reports…" pic.twitter.com/KCrS870KZb
