And now we have “we are real news, Mr. President” Jim Acosta, whose job it is for CNN to report the news, tell us just what he thinks of the news this morning that President Trump is planning an executive order to end birthright citizenship:
The founders set up the constitution so the president can’t do what he’s proposing to do with birthright citizenship. It’s a stunt, like sending the troops to a border for a non-existent invasion.

Maybe Sarah Sanders should open the daily press briefing to other opinion columnists because it’s not fair that only CNN gets to have one asking questions.
As to whether or not these are stunts or not, President Trump has had this view since at least 2015:

And as we told you earlier, the troops to the border look to be in support of the tent cities President Trump said will house asylum seeker while they await hearings:

So if Acosta wants to call them stunts, fine. But he needs to pick if he wants to be a reporter or an analyst/op-ed writer/etc.
