Erin Sykes, a passenger on the flight, reported that the people were sick before jet left Dubai and “should never have been allowed to board”:
@emirates worst flight ever Dubai to NYC; plane was basically a flying infermary. Many of these people should never have been allowed to board. Now sitting on the ground after 14 hour flight unable to leave. @EmiratesSupport #emirates #worstairline

Yes I’m fine. People were sick before we even took off from Dubai. Like really nasty colds. I asked stewardess for a mask bf we even took off but there were none

And some of the passengers have high fevers:

As of right now, the sick and well passengers are all commingled on the plane filling out intake forms:
Filling out #cdc passanger intake forms now. Still sick people on board commingled with not-sick (well, for now ?) @emirates #emirates #emirates203

@Emirates #Emirates #emirates203 Sick passengers should have never been let on board! And you still have not removed them from the plane. This is horrible. Those of us who are ok are still sitting next to sick

Yes please share. People are getting stressed now. They have not taken the sick people off the plane.
