Chris Cillizza deletes tweet with GIF that accidentally put 'green crosshairs' on President Trump [screenshot]

CNN’s Chris Cillizza deleted a tweet a few minutes ago that accidentally put “green crosshairs” over an image of President Donald Trump:

According to Cillizza, the software program he used to make the GIF is to blame:

I’ve deleted a GIF about President Trump. We use @GifGrabber to make our GIFs and it defaults to the image below as a first frame. To clear up any unintended confusion, I’ve removed the tweet. pic.twitter.com/x6PCKoiW16
