Sigh.
Do we have to cover this again? Apparently so.
Sally Kohn on Sunday linked to that Think Progress article titled, “The NRA donated $10,000 to help train the Parkland shooting suspect to use a rifle” which smears the JROTC in order to take a shot at the NRA, calling it “Unbelievable. But true.”

And as we told you last week, this just isn’t the entire story. It’s a JROTC program:
Liberal media: "The NRA donated $10K to help train Parkland shooter."
Lie. ?
Truth. ?The NRA grant went to the U.S. Army JROTC at the high school.
The JROTC protected fellow students with Kevlar vests during shooting.

A JROTC program which also trained these heroes last week. Sally Kohn left them out of her tweet:
2 JROTC students at Stoneman Douglas describe how they led & protected classmates from the shooting by shielding them with kevlar mats they had from JROTC. Many lives were probably saved thanks to the leadership of these JROTC students during the shooting.pic.twitter.com/y5AGLULrsd

More on the program here:
Ok folks, time to explore yet another @sallykohn propaganda tweet:
1) Cruz was a member of the JROTC, and yes the NRA does provide funding for this air rifle competition program (4H has one too)
BUT,
2) JROTC is a Federal program sponsored by the U.S. Armed Forces.

3) The original program was created as part of the National Defense Act of 1916
4) It was expanded under the 1964 ROTC Vitalization Act
5) @sallykohn is either a lazy journalist, intentionally misleading her ignorant fan base, or doesn't want you to know LBJ was POTUS in 64'

She may also want you to forget that her beloved Barrack Hussein Obama, Commander in Chief for eight years, could have eliminated this program.
Nope, instead, @sallykohn has become just another arm of the neo-socialist propaganda machine.
Bias much, Sally?

P.S.
Kudos to @legallybae for pointing out the unsung JROTC heroes that directed students and saved lives.@NRA sponsored them too, @sallykohn #2A#NRA— Allen Ray the Infinitely Prolonged (@2CynicAl65) February 18, 2018
And we’ve said this before, but this really is why we can’t discuss guns in this country:
