The Super Bowl LII halftime show starring Justin Timberlake just wrapped up, but this kid playing on his phone while standing next to the superstar singer was the best part:

WHAT DID HE TWEET/TEXT?
This kid is savage. Tweeting "They should've brought back @ladygaga Gaga" right in front of JT like that. #Superbowl #Justintimberlake pic.twitter.com/rN6TeWiupg

He did score a selfie:
"Let me get a selfie with #JustinTimberlake real quick." #SuperBowl pic.twitter.com/aPtMvhCb5R

Timberlake also paid tribute to Minnesota native Prince with this weird projection on a sheet:
'Minneapolis, Minnesota, this one's for you.' pic.twitter.com/1L0RJMJOgY

An honor fit for a Prince. pic.twitter.com/EjsGPhOYiG

Justin Timberlake paying tribute to Prince at #SuperBowl was pretty awesome. What a classy move from one of music's greatest entertainers. #JustinTimberlake pic.twitter.com/QUISt50Zoe

But many thought the entire show was a dud:
HE DID NOT HONOR PRINCE https://t.co/31O4OHx69H

Inadvertently and unwillingly saw the halftime show while eating at the bar.
I feel myself spiraling into a deep dark hole of rage and depression .— Anthony Bourdain (@Bourdain) February 5, 2018
JT butchering one of my favorite Prince songs is more obscene than a second or two of nipple.

Sound mix weird. It’s like he’s doing incomplete, bad karaoke. #HalftimeShow

This Justin Timberlake show is so bad I wish they hadn’t deep-sixed the Prince hologram.

And he was dressed funny:
okay but why did #JustinTimberlake look like a clearance table at Bass Pro #SuperBowl pic.twitter.com/DB1tlAMwJL
