After attempting to politicize every tragedy involving a gun, Sen. Chuck Schumer is angry at President Donald Trump for politicizing yesterday’s terror attack allegedly perpetrated by a Muslim terrorist in the U.S. thanks to the Diversity Visa lottery program:
I guess it's not too soon to politicize a tragedy.

Schumer not only hit back at the president on Twitter, but with a news release, too:
Schumer says that Trump is "politicizing and dividing America" in the wake of the NYC attack. pic.twitter.com/A6EWjJERxF

And then he went nuclear on the Senate floor:
Schumer in speaking now on the Senate floor.

Schumer: "Now, Mister President, I've seen the tweets from President Trump…"
— Frank Thorp V (@frankthorp) November 1, 2017
Schumer: "President Trump, where is your leadership?"
— Frank Thorp V (@frankthorp) November 1, 2017
Schumer: "After September 11th, the first thing that President Bush did was invite Senator Clinton and me to the White House where he pledged to do whatever was in his power to help our city."

Flashback:
Schumer politicized Las Vegas in less than 24 hours…never Forget.https://t.co/4PwEVwKGCK

Not only did he politicize Vegas, but he said it was a good thing to do:
Schumer didn't just politicize Las Vegas, he gave a floor speech explaining why it was a good thing to politicize it. pic.twitter.com/6cXjMzs7nf

Keep it up, Chucky. This will guarantee Trump a win in 2020:
“No no see only WE are allowed to politicize tragedies to push policy changes we want in the aftermath.” Sorry doesn’t work that way.

Even some in the media get it:
Schumer's hands aren't clean on this otherwise valid point. => https://t.co/GNxAX5evGS

Unless it involves gun control. https://t.co/6xS6soxzOQ

But others don’t really care about Schumer’s hypocrisy:

And that’s our point: It’s always one-sided:
Yes, politicizing tragedies for a policy agenda is bad. Unfortunately, press only seems to recognize that when they disagree w the agenda. https://t.co/3mpDE1nmr3
