WHOOPS! NYT issues correction after reporting news from North Korea parody account

One of our favorite parody accounts out there is “DPRK News Service,” which bills itself as the “Official News feed of Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea.” Here’s what they posted on July 4 after reports surfaced that the U.S. and South Korea had test fired missiles of their own in response to North Korea’s missile test:
