Pretend for one second if a conservative comic has said this about Barack Obama:
Stephen Colbert to Trump: “The only thing your mouth is good for is being Vladimir Putin’s cock holster.” https://t.co/d5K2k2nH4x pic.twitter.com/3lPliSceTH

The joke came at the end of Colbert’s monologue Monday night in a bit where he responded to President Trump’s insult of CBS’ John Dickerson with insults of his own. Although “cock” was bleeped out, at least it was in the YouTube clip:
Over to you, CBS:
As @meakoopa has pointed out previously, comedians using gay sex as the harshest condemnation/mockery of straight men remains in vogue. https://t.co/TbCRndLoau

If Democrats think this type of stuff helps them, it doesn’t. https://t.co/tIQ9QC4bmx

In case you thought the dialogue in our country couldn't get worse – or more crude. This is awful. https://t.co/qSjChQbxVY

If a late night host had said this about Obama, every activist group in the country would be calling for their job – and they'd get it. https://t.co/RuG57k2jUF

I agree with everyone that this is bad. https://t.co/EKvSNiepa4

Many ppl tweeting host would lose job if he said it about Obama. I'm at like 50-50 that Colbert will too. https://t.co/PUoU9SkzgM

Homophobia for the right cause, with the right targets, is good homophobia, apparently. https://t.co/4rLd1wfTfA
