Did you guys see the viral video earlier this week of a polar bear petting a dog at a sanctuary for sled dogs in Churchill, Manitoba? It’s been called “the cutest video ever created“:

That is until the polar bears start doing what they’re known for…

And it looks like the owner of the sanctuary is at fault because this genius had been feeding the polar bears, but not on the night a polar bear ate a dog:

[Brian] Ladoon, who runs the Mile 5 Dog Sanctuary in Churchill, told CBC News that one day last week there were nine bears on the land where he keeps his dogs chained up. One of the bears ate one of his dogs, he said.
“That was the only day we didn’t feed the f–king bears, the only night we didn’t put anything out,” he said.
What the heck did he think would happen?
