'Absolutely despicable': Who thieves targeted during tribute to Nebraska punter will make you FUME

Earlier this year, University of Nebraska starting punter Sam Foltz died tragically in a car accident on the way home from a sports camp in Wisconsin.

The Cornhuskers honored Foltz’s memory on Saturday during their home opener when on the first punt attempt of the game, the team took the field with only 10 players in a missing-man formation. The play clock ran down and Nebraska was charged with a delay of game penalty, which Fresno State declined:

The video of the tribute is amazing:

And from one of the best stories in college sports to this. Someone reportedly broke into his brother’s home and car during the game:

From ESPN:

Greeley County Sheriff David Weeks says the burglary happened sometime after the Foltz family left home around noon to attend Saturday’s game in Lincoln, Nebraska, and before they returned around 3 a.m. Sunday.

The thieves took items worth roughly $1,400, including a television and tools, from Jordan Foltz’s home and vehicle in the Greeley, Nebraska, area.
