Politico has a piece out this morning that calls into question Melania Trump’s immigration status and whether or not she broke U.S. law when she worked as a model in the U.S. in the 90’s.
In a nutshell, Melania Trump has consistently said she started to work in the U.S. in 1996. Those nude pictures posted by the New York Post, however, were shot in 1995. Politico is also calling into question the type of visa she used to travel to America:
Looks like Melania may have worked in the States on a tourist visa, making her an illegal immigrant. https://t.co/8Vk17ZqyFo

Melania fired back saying, “I have at all time been in full compliance with the immigration laws of this country. Period.”

However, the three Politico reporters who wrote the piece say she still has questions to answer:

What was your status in 1995? Did you do modeling work in US in '95 on a B-1 or B-2 visa? Campaign wouldn't answer https://t.co/iekRKQt6BW

This statement does not address our reporting, which pertains to modeling work apparently done in US in 1995 https://t.co/iekRKQt6BW

Melania says she was in full compliance in 1996, but what about in 1995 when she did the nude photoshoot in NY? https://t.co/76Vj0w4o6v

So let's see it. What kind of visa did you come to the States on? https://t.co/76Vj0w4o6v

Exit question: Will she release her visas?
Surely this mixup can be easily resolved by @MELANIATRUMP simply releasing her 1996-2006 visas https://t.co/rULLkRxpVi
