Report: 40 bodies recovered from AirAsia Fl. 8501 crash; Update: Only 3 bodies recovered

Sad news from Indonesia the wreckage of AirAsia Fl. 8501 has been reportedly discovered in the Karimata Strait off the coast of Borneo, about 10 kilometers from the plane’s last reported position:

Media coverage of the recovery in Indonesia is being criticized for the way it reported the news:

And there was another incident involving an Air Asia flight, this time in Philippines when plane “overshot the runway at Kalibo Airport” early Tuesday morning:

Thankfully, no injuries have been reported from the Kalibo incident.
