Joe Manchin gives CNN's Manu Raju something new to ask him about every day

And there it is. . .

Sen. Joe Machin told CNN’s Manu Raju a few moments ago that President Biden’s Build Back Better bill is dead:

Sen. Joe Manchin, asked about Build Back Better, said: “What Build Back Better bill? I don’t know what you guys are talking about.”

I asked him if he’s had any talks on the matter since December. “No, no, no, no. It’s dead.”

This is “excellent” news:

And good on Manchin for not letting Dems put him in a corner:

Manchin unaware of latest House Democrat bid to buffalo him back into Build Back Better.

House Dems said the pen was in Manchin's hand and he could write any bill he wanted.

Doesn't seem he's falling for that. https://t.co/8wwTocC9Nu

But, we expect, journos won’t accept this answer and will now ask Manchin every day if he’s changed his mind like they did with the filibuster:

Now, instead of asking Manchin every day about the filibuster, they'll keep asking about Build Back Better. https://t.co/jjcomGFwSC

Manu should ask him again tomorrow. Can never be too sure with these things.

As Biden's chief Capitol Hill lobbyist, Manu, be sure to ask him every day to see if his position has changed yet. https://t.co/ajvJJesFOe

Don't forget to ask him 500 more times https://t.co/Mm97yFrxhH

You just know it’s going to happen.
