WaPo Fact Checker Glenn Kessler embarrasses himself after jumping into the Mace-Greene quarrel

One tweet we didn’t include in our post earlier regarding the ongoing quarrel between GOP Reps. Nancy Mace and Marjorie Taylor Greene was this one from Mace trolling Greene over her call with Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy:

I just got off a good call with @GOPLeader.

We spent time talking about solving problems not only in the conference, but for our country.

I like what he has planned ahead.

It’s verbatim to what Greene had tweeted out earlier:

I just got off a good call with @GOPLeader.

We spent time talking about solving problems not only in the conference, but for our country.

I like what he has planned ahead.

But the Washington Post’s Glenn Kessler apparently didn’t understand the nature of Mace’s tweet and instead accused Mace and Greene of “regurgitating pre-cooked talking points”:

Gee, can't people even be a little more original when regurgitating pre-cooked taking points? pic.twitter.com/rLOufWTrc2

LOL, what a clown:

how are you a real person

(Nancy Mace is mocking Marjorie Taylor Greene, who just got done calling Mace a cuck. Glenn Kessler is a moron.) https://t.co/1ffiDSVQC2

I'm surprised to report that a self-styled fact checker doesn't recognize that Mace is trolling her for quietly getting in line after trashing McCarthy publicly. https://t.co/UEu7mxh7oH

thank you for this astute analysis of what is going on here, Glenn. https://t.co/WrqXxDNWGj

The Washington Post fact-checker failing to recognize an obvious troll is <chef's kiss>https://t.co/vAwImddTP6
