President Trump tells Bill O’Reilly he ‘did not direct’ Rudy Giuliani to investigate the Bidens in Ukraine

In an interview with Bill O’Reilly that aired yesterday, President Trump denied that he directed Rudy Giuliani to investigate the Bidens in Ukraine.

“Pretty sure I hear a bus, folks”:

Wow – Trump just denied sending Rudy Giuliani to Ukraine in his behalf. He tells Bill O’Reilly that to find out what Giuliani was doing in Ukraine, “you’d have to ask Rudy.” Notes Giuliani has a lot clients.

Excerpts from the interview:

“No, I didn’t direct him, but he is a warrior, he is a warrior,” Trump says of Giuliani.
As for what Rudy was doing in Ukraine, “you have to ask that to Rudy.”
“Rudy has other clients, other than me. He’s done a lot of work in Ukraine over the years,” Trump adds.

Trump: "Well, you have to ask that to Rudy, but Rudy, I don't, I don't even know. I know he was going to go to Ukraine and I think he canceled a trip. But, you know, Rudy has other clients other than me. I'm one person."

O’Reilly: “So, you didn't direct him to go there on your behalf?
Trump: “No, but but you have to understand, Rudy is a great corruption fighter.”

Trump: “You know, he's done a lot of work in Ukraine over the years and I think, I mean that's what I heard. I might have even read that someplace, but he's a good man and he's an honorable guy and he's a great crime fighter, corruption fighter."

Not merely denying that Rudy was there on his behalf, Trump is denying any first hand knowledge that Giuliani was ever in Ukraine at all>>>

This does not fit with what the president said on the Zelensky call:
