Out Magazine slams Anderson Cooper for asking a question about Ellen DeGeneres and not on LGBTQ+ issues

This is absolutely insane.

Out Magazine is slamming Anderson Cooper for asking a question about Ellen DeGeneres and not about LGBTQ+ issues:

Anderson Cooper's question about Ellen during the #DemocraticDebate made us want to scream. https://t.co/R5kEG8RTEb

Maybe this is because CNN just hosted an entire forum on this very issue? Could that be the reason?

CNN's LGBTQ Town Hall is on now. Nine Democratic presidential candidates are in Los Angeles talking about lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer issues.

Dems are criticizing CNN for not asking any questions last night about climate change as well:

Three hours and no questions tonight about climate, housing, or immigration.

Climate change is an existential threat. America has a housing crisis. Children are still in cages at our border.

But you know, Ellen.#DemocraticDebate

Three hours.

Not one question about the climate crisis.

Not one question about LGBTQ+ rights.

Not one question about immigration.

These issues are too important to ignore. #DemDebate

Not one single question about the climate crisis.
Not one single question about the climate crisis.
Not one single question about the climate crisis.

This is the existential crisis of our time. Not one single question, and that’s completely inexcusable. #DemDebate

YES to this! Twenty years from now, it won't wear well that in a THREE hour debate, there was time to ask about Ellen at a Cowboys game, but not climate change. Not once! https://t.co/qTvbr7LvyU

And they must have forgotten about CNN’s marathon climate town hall:

In case you missed it last time, here's a round-up of the seven whole hours that CNN devoted to interviewing presidential candidates for its Climate Crisis Town Hall. Now, it's MSNBC's turn. #ClimateForum2020 https://t.co/IT5R8CzViM

They’ve lost it.
