Well, it took some time to finally come out, but the WSJ is reporting that the gunman responsible for yesterday’s mass shooting is 36-year-old Seth Ator from Odessa, TX:

Authorities refused to name the gunman at a press conference earlier today:

Even Rep. Joaquin Castro questioned what was going on:
I missed part of the Odessa press conference. Did they give a reason for withholding the identity of the shooter?

Authorities did say he was from Odessa, Texas:

And the FBI is currently searching a residence linked to the attack:

The FBI also said that the attack wasn’t connected to terrorism but they’re still searching for a motive:
