As we told you earlier, CNN’s Brian Stelter is playing media cop and is criticizing other media orgs over their President Trump headlines:
“We need to talk about the problem with headlines,” says @BrianStelter. “We are 2 1/2 years into the Trump presidency and news outlets are still putting Trump’s far-fetched and false assertions right in the headlines and sometimes right on the TV banners.” pic.twitter.com/nfDOH0qrM0

Well, Brian, how about this totally BS headline from CNN on President Trump’s appearance on NBC today?
A good example of why so many Americans people don’t trust the media: The lead story right now on CNN is headlined “Trump says he’s not ready for 2020 loss.” The implication is he will not accept losing the election, peaceful transition etc. 1/ pic.twitter.com/WEql2EsfHL

And here’s Steve Krakauer breaking down why it’s totally BS in case you missed what the president actually said on “Meet the Press” rather than what CNN reported in its headline:
Trump did say this in his interview with @ChuckTodd today. But he said it in the context of "No I'm probably not too prepared to lose. I don't like losing.” You can see the full transcript: 2/ https://t.co/8xz43Zo5LN

CNN left this part out of its story, too, which is even worse:
Trump was also asked specifically about whether he’d accept the results of the election. And he explicitly said yes, 100%. See the part from the transcript below. That was left out of the entire CNN story. Best case – mistake. Worst case – malpractice. 3/ https://t.co/e7B7INaPcZ pic.twitter.com/q8RWshidX6

So that’s 5 journos bylined on the piece and not only is the headline wrong but the most important context that explained the headline was left out of the story:
It took five CNN journalists to write this report with a headline implying that Trump would not accept losing the election. And I bet every one of them hopes you'll pay for journalism. https://t.co/lBX0sHj4iO
