There’s a post going viral from the Justice Democrats account of Joe Biden in 2008 that implies the former vice president, at that time, was endorsing bundlers and that he’d welcome their thoughts after taking their campaign contributions:
Joe Biden: “If you go out and bundle $250K for me, all legal, and then you call me after I’m elected and say ‘Joe, I’d like to talk to you about something.’ I’m gonna say ‘Come on in.’ It’s human nature.” pic.twitter.com/Nd4DA8xwiF

Except, this isn’t what Biden was saying. At all. Via the Washington Post’s Dave Weigel who pointed out that Biden was criticizing politicians who took the bundled contributions, not endorsing it:
This clip is from a November 2007 town hall in Iowa. The question was whether "the pervasiveness of special interest groups" bother Biden; he says they do, hence this irony-drenched answer. 1/2 https://t.co/KBqPYMryNQ

At the time, Biden was badly flagging candidates who DID have bundlers, like Clinton and Obama. "[Special interests] bother me a lot, and that's why I've only raised $10 million," Biden says. (Whole town hall is on C-Span, exchange is at 55:00). 2/2https://t.co/TjBimbuLka

Biden also called for the public financing of elections back then:
"The front of the line is always full of people whose pockets are full," Biden says. "We need public financing of our elections."
You COULD hit Biden for not getting that done as VP. Or you could slice him out of context to say he was admitting he loves bundlers.

Will Justice Democrats ever start telling the truth?
Definitely not a Joe Biden fan, but this tweet is bullshit.
Biden was attempting to explain how special interests work.
The far-left Justice Democrats — the anti-Semitic group AOC, Omar, and Tlaib belong to — lies about everything. https://t.co/w7Q4w4pznT

About 2 hours later the account clarified what they really meant (will the majority of Dems even care that Biden is doing this in order to beat Trump?):
This is typical from too many leaders in the Democratic Party establishment: criticize the role of corporate money and big money in politics while raking it in.
Biden criticized ultra-rich bundlers in 2008 and now is among their largest recipients.https://t.co/10s6LwTig0

But the damage was already done and a lot of blue-check libs owe Biden an apology:
The strange thing is that he thinks there is nothing wrong with the implications of what he said. https://t.co/JwBocskNyZ
