So, it looks like CNN’s suits are totally cool with Don Lemon saying, “the biggest terror threat in this country is white men“:

Lemon then doubled down on his comment, saying “the vast majority of deadly attacks in this country from 2001 to 2016 were carried out by far-right extremists.” But in true this is an apple, not a banana CNN fashion, he admitted that although there were more domestic terror attacks in the U.S. by number, a far greater number of Americas were killed by Islamic extremists:

Tonight I also want to talk about some uncomfortable truths. The truth about who really carries out domestic terror attacks in this country.

Earlier this week, I made some comments about that in a conversation with Chris, I said that the biggest terror threat in this country comes from radicals on the far right, primarily white men. That angered some people. But let’s put emotion aside and look at the cold hard facts.

The evidence is overwhelming. A recent report from the Government Accountability Office shows that. Even though more people died in attacks connected to Islamic extremists, the vast majority of deadly attacks in this country from 2001 to 2016 were carried out by far-right violent extremists.

Watch here:

So, actually, critics ARE NOT missing the entire point, especially since Lemon gives a pretty good reason as to why “white men” are not “the biggest threat” this country faces AS HE’S ATTEMPTING TO JUSTIFY IT:

The fact that he thinks he’s done nothing wrong or that CNN won’t even answer questions on it is the problem here:

Do better.
