Twitchy favorite and NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch came under fire this morning from ThinkProgress reporter Aaron Rupar over comments she made on the student marches yesterday.
Rupar accused Dana of trying to “smear student gun violence walkout for antisemitism” when she pointed out the 100% accurate fact that these marches were organized by the Women’s March which is dealing with the fallout from iits alliance with celebrity anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan.
First up, watch the clip with Rupar aggrieved by this quote:
“I know the walkouts yesterday were organized by the Women’s March, which are dealing with some serious antisemitic accusations right now which maybe perhaps wasn’t the best optic.”
.@DLoesch tries to smear student gun violence walkout for antisemitism.

Now here’s the back-and-forth with Dana firing back, HARD:
Shame on you. I specifically said the Women’s March, which is fact. How dare you try to make people share their offenses.
— Dana Loesch (@DLoesch) March 15, 2018
it's a direct quote. you were asked about the student walkout and suggested that it's somehow rooted in antisemitism

No, I said the Women’s March has a problem with antisemitism. Are you denying this? Are you denying their strong defense of Farrakhan and his antisemitic and bigoted remarks?
— Dana Loesch (@DLoesch) March 15, 2018
it is not germane to the topic of gun violence or the student walkout.
— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) March 15, 2018
You’re denying that the Women’s March organized it? And you have no problem with their support for antisemitism and bigotry? Or how an adult group that endorses antisemitism is trying to siphon attention away from kids simply trying to make their voices heard?
— Dana Loesch (@DLoesch) March 15, 2018
The NRA is desperately trying to change the topic https://t.co/z2ffFNaOnZ
— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) March 15, 2018
Dana ended the argument with this helpful link to The Atlantic, which also think the Women’s March has a Farrakhan problem:
Think Progress hates when you mention that the Women’s March has a problem with antisemitism and bigotry https://t.co/Ow2enoi360 https://t.co/QyL5GxJ3QE
— Dana Loesch (@DLoesch) March 15, 2018
Also, the NRA was not trying to change the subject. But why should the NRA let the Women’s March and its anti-gun agenda get a pass over this?
So a) the Louis Farrakhan fangirls at the Women's March are the ones behind the "National School Walkout" today. Great leadership there, and I'm glad we all got the message about not tolerating bigots. And….

b) Here are there legislative demands. See if you can spot a big, glaring inconsistency here.https://t.co/XJ4RVhpMJP pic.twitter.com/ZxB1pwwQcY

They also say, "We demand Congress recognize all forms of gun violence, including violence committed by police." So who will be enforcing the gun bans, then?
